Here is a vintage book that I used to test Twinkling H2O's
The page below is printed with only two colors, green plus a black outline. Typical of the times, there are only three colors (green and turquoise, with black outlines) in the entire book.
I'm going to jazz it up with a makeover!
Painted the photo and margins with Twinkling H2O's with crisp edges on the bird, but using a wet into wet technique on background
Added a line design using an ordinary black ball point pen....
Continued to add layers of Twinkling H2O's and ink.... on both pages...
Oh Linda, this looks like it was great fun. I guess just a second hand store for the books? Do you get much paper warping? I also loved what you was doing with your feather canvas. Just curious here, are you a member of the Indian Nation there that you spoke of? I noticed the very beautifully beaded ink pen cover you held. As stated, just curious. No blood, only strong feelings and heavy heart regarding Native American People and History. Thank You for sharing your tips and Art.
